As a professional photographer with a degree in photojournalism and over 15 years of experience, my knowledge and ability to teach is exactly what you need. I will work with you to help you take better pictures of your children/family, friends and places you visit. We will discuss the essentials: composition, lighting, and the basic functions of cameras. During the workshop, you will receive photo assignments to immediately apply what you learn. We will (gently) critique photographs you’ve taken before and the ones you take during the workshop.
We will discuss ways to explore your creativity. Additionally I will share tips on basic retouching (adjusting brightness/contrast, resizing, enhancing skin, changing to black and white) and organizing your digital photos so you can find them more easily. You will have the option to join our private Facebook group for ongoing encouragement and feedback.
I have been a professional photographer for over 15 years, working in France, Costa Rica, Miami, New York and Shanghai. My clients have included Associated Press, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Mastercard, General Motors among many others.
The next workshop will be held March 10-11. The cost is 3,000kc but a 10% discount is offered for registration/payment received by March 2.

I have recently participated in a photography workshop by Jennie and would recommend signing up to anyone looking to learn more about their camera and improving their pictures. Not only has she proven to be an expert in this field, she also had a lovely and very humorous way of presenting the class. This really made the course a memorable experience. Thanks to Jennie, I am no longer stuck in first gear with my camera, but was able to shift up a few gears
